What is soft washing?
Soft washing simply refers the method that is used when cleaning with very low pressure. You can EASILY damage the surface that's being cleaned by utilizing high pressure. We utilize very low pressure to clean most surfaces. We're able to achieve this by utilizing the correct cleaning solution to get rid of all the dirt, grime, algae, mold, mildew, and all other organic material on your home.
Can cleaning with high pressure damage my property?
Yes, it absolutely can. Cleaning with high pressure can result in thousands of dollars worth of damage to your property and even hard surfaces such as concrete can be damaged by using too much pressure. This is precisely why we almost never clean anything with high pressure. We asses the surface that we will be cleaning and use the adequate pressure and solutions to clean it.
My house has green and black on it, can it be safely removed?
Absolutely! Most of the residential work that we do is removing this "black and green" from the siding of homes. The black and green is usually mold/algae that has built up on your home due to weather, time, and the outside elements.
High Pressure Washing FAQs
When is high pressure used?
Higher pressure is used to clean harder surfaces such as concrete. Even hard surfaces can be damage by using too much pressure, so we always use adequate pressure in order to clean your property.
How is the pressure adjusted?
We adjust pressure in different ways but our most common way is to change out the tips. We also have dedicated pumps that only go up to 120psi.
Can high pressure remove organic stains?
Although high pressure can help clean hard surfaces, some porous surfaces such as concrete will need chemical solution cleaning to get rid of all organic stains.
Window Cleaning FAQs
What is water-fed pole window cleaning?
Water-fed pole window cleaning simply refers to the system that we use to clean windows. With a water-fed pole system, there is a 3 stage water filtration/purification process (carbon filter, RO filter, and DI filter). Because of the filtration process, the water that is used to rinse the glass after scrubbing/brushing has close to 0 TDS. This means that the window will dry spot less after all the dirt and grime and scrubbed off of it.
What are hard water/mineral stains?
Over time windows can developed stains from minerals in water runoff and other outside elements. In order to properly remove these stains we need to use an abrasive scrubber or at times chemical solutions to restore the glass.
What is a broken seal/gasket?
A lot of double pane windows have gas in-between the panes. This gas is sealed off by a gasket and prevents air/moisture from getting in-between the panes. If a gasket breaks, the moisture and air will get inside the panes and the window will have a haze. This is not something window cleaning can resolve.
